DESCRIPTION:There's a humorous trope, featuring two cows, purporting to sufficiently
introduce numerous political systems to the poli-curious. For
capitalist-posing lands the story goes like this: Under Capitalism a
farmer has two cows. He sells one, buys a bull with the proceeds, and
starts a herd. The bovines stand for possibility, while each political
system treats the farmer in a fashion emblematic of its signature historic
outcomes. It's an entertaining sequence . . . but it misses an essential
consideration, namely WHERE DOES THE FARMER GRAZE THESE COWS?\n\nCome along
on a walking tour ostensibly a survey of San Francisco social movement
history, but truly a concise introduction to a social philosophy founded on
the conviction that everyone has a natural right to equal access to the
socio-economic opportunities of land.\n\nMarxists, housing rights
advocates, literary dandies, Biblical scholars, animal rights warriors,
geographers, also-ran political candidates (looking for a topic by which to
once-and-for-all end electability but secure notoriety), and a bevy of
other out-lier sorts will find themselves intellectually "re-booted" and
 emotionally stirred by attendance.\n\nwww.TheCommonsSF.org \n\nHere's a
