DESCRIPTION:Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/180205689501824/\n\nThis
week we will be enjoying delicious homemade vegan biscuits & gravy and
homestyle potatoes. We will also have fruit and freshly brewed
coffee!\n\nWe will presenting this week on what is going on in the
community and most urgently what we can do to save the baby goat, Rain.
Rain was rescued in an Open Rescue. He was suffering from pneumonia and he
was going to ultimately be killed. His life could be in danger again but
together we can protect him! \n\nWatch the video here to learn more about
 Rain:\nhttps://www.facebook.com/directactioneverywhere/videos/2002146749815664/\n---\n\nEach
Saturday at 10:45am, vegan brunch will be served for a suggested donation
before 11:15 when we launch into the weekend with a 15-minute
 update/presentation followed by a quick Q&A. By 11:40, we'll transition to
a work party and strategy session where you can offer some much-needed help
or talk with organizers to find out how you can help DxE SF Bay achieve its
2018 goals of maximizing mobilization, open rescue and legislative
change.\n\nTogether, we will change the world for animals - starting right
NOW!\n\nLearn more about our values here:

where every animal is safe, happy and free.\n\nDxE cultivates a welcoming

(online and offline) respect our Code of Conduct which can be reviewed at
 http://dxecodeofconduct.wikispaces.com/Code+of+Conduct.\n\nTo learn about
our vision, goals, strategy and more check out the San Francisco Bay Area
 chapter Activist Handbook here:
https://dxe.io/sfbayhandbook\n\nLOCATION/DIRECTIONS: Most of our events are
held at the Berkeley Animal Rights Center located in Suite C at 2425

another 5 blocks until you see the big red pillars - you’re here! We

to/from BART or other short distances in the area - please email us at
 sfbay@directactioneverywhere.com to request a walking buddy.\n\nPARKING:
There is a parking garage at the center (free for the first hour) and
