 several months. Faced with austerity, wage cuts, and theft of benefits and 
 pensions, the strikers turned to labor’s strongest weapon to defend both 
 their rights and the public services they provide. Speakers will spark a 
 discussion by giving first-hand accounts of strikes, lessons learned, and
