 popular demand! \nAfter leading a Mother’s Day service at BFUU that 
 brought everyone to their feet, Melanie DeMore returns for a service on 
 Pride Sunday, June 24. Her message about love and hope resounds through her 
 best known anthem, “Put One Foot in Front of the Other/Lead with Love.” 
 DeMore is a vocal activist based in Oakland who uses her voice as a 
 “weapon of mass communication.” Her message about pride, power, love 
 and liberation is especially timely right now. Come to celebrate a holiday 
 that cherishes the victories of the LGBTQ community while keeping the focus 
 on activist goals still to be met. The collection plate will be turned over
