 momentum on Thursday, May 3rd, 7pm with award-winning actor, producer and 
 humanitarian Mr. Danny Glover.\n\nThe free community event will take place 
 at the Cathedral of Christ the Light located at 2121 Harrison Street,

 Elihu Harris Lecture Series is co-presented by the Martin Luther King Jr. 
 Freedom Center and the Peralta Community College District and created to 
 promote the vision, leadership, and accomplishments of Congresswoman 
 Barbara Lee and former California State Assembly member, Oakland Mayor, and 
 Peralta Community College District Chancellor Elihu Harris.  \n\nThe series 
 offers an ample exchange of ideas to help inspire and move forward new 
 leadership and servantship.  The lecture series have featured civil rights 
 leaders who have worked closely with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, along with 
 others like them who continue to work tirelessly for social justice.\n\nThe 
 MLK Jr. Freedom Center serves individuals, organizations, schools and 
 communities in the Greater Bay Area. Promoting the principles of 
 nonviolence, the Freedom Center offers an environment where young people 
 actively seek peaceful, nonviolent solutions to the difficult challenges we
