The Lake Merritt BART station is an 8 minute, 1/2 mile walk away. See www.douglasparking.com for commercial lots near the site. We will have a valet bike parking area on-site.\n\nWhat's to eat?\n\nA variety of food trucks will be dishing up tasty treats in front of the Kaiser Auditorium - across Lake Merritt Blvd, where our sponsor booths and kids area are also located.\n\nWhere are we marching?\n\nActually nowhere this year. M4S 2018 is a rally and street fair. The logistics of getting this large number of science fans safely marching around the lake, or coordinating a parade route didn't work out this year. Your feet will cheer - and we'll still raise our voices and signs for science in a meaningful and fun way!\n\nWhat can I bring into the event?\n\nThe safety and comfort of the large expected crowd is our first priority. Many attendees may have substance sensitivities, and we will be in close quarters. The event is completely gun-free, alcohol-free, drug-free, & smoke-free (both tobacco and cannibis). Please leave these items at home, and avoid wearing fragrances so that all can participate.\n\nCan I volunteer to help produce this fantastic event?\n\nAbsolutely!
