DESCRIPTION:Come along on a walking tour that will liberate you from guilt over not
contributing to the World Wildlife Fund, the Sierra Club, Adopt-a-Bovine,
and other environmental organizations. Mind you, we encourage you to donate
to these organizations if you don't come on this walk surveying San
Francisco social movements.\n\nThe upshot of the walk is that wild plants
and animals don't need special care and attention from human beings, they
simply need to be left loads of natural habitat, and the most
thorough-going way to ensure pandas and redwood trees have plenty of
habitat is to establish public policy that ensures humans use their own
habitat optimally. If humans don't under-use urban land, then there isn't
sprawl, and if there's no sprawl there's no suburban encroachment upon
farmland, and if there's no suburban encroachment upon farmland, then farms
don't invade wilderness. Aaaahhhh!\n\nAt last, then, the question is What
 non-invasive public policy kaboshes land speculation?\n\nAnswer: you'll
find out on this walk. It's free . . . and might just save your donation
 should-have guilt.\n\n\nwww.TheCommonsSF.org\n
