DESCRIPTION:San Francisco luminaries get drenched for dollars and soak up the fun at 
 the 25th Annual TNDC (Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation) Pool 
 Toss at SF’s chic Phoenix Hotel/Chambers Eat + Drink on Wednesday, 
 October 11. Watch as notable Bay Area personalities belly flop, nose-dive 
 and cannonball into the pool to raise money for TNDC’s After- School 
 Program (TASP). This wet and wild affair is THE pool party of the year and 
 has raised almost $5 million for TNDC youth and family programs like TASP. 
 TNDC serves more than 4,100 of the lowest-income individuals in San 
 Francisco’s Tenderloin and nearby neighborhoods.\n\nThis year’s TNDC 
 Pool Toss will be co-hosted by Brian Copeland, Comedian, Writer, T.V. & 
 Radio Host; and Nikki Medoro, Radio Personality & Commentator. Energetic 
 emcees will introduce the high-profile “Tossees” while the spirited 
 crowd bids on the chance to toss their favorite bigwig into the pool. 
 \n\nConfirmed “Tossees” include Nancy Andrews, CEO, Low Income 
 Investment Fund; The Conley Family, Dunking Celebs Since 1992; 
 Bill Feyling, Executive Director, Carpenters 46 Northern California 
 Counties Conference Board; The Honorable Mark Leno; Jim Losi & Laura Pfaff, 
 longtime Pool Toss Co-Chairs; Jessica Silverman, owner Jessica Silverman 
 Gallery; Richard Tran, Mayor of Milpitas; Carlie Wilmans, Executive 
 Director, 500 Capp Street Project and The Women of Pixar 2, a dedicated 
 group of colleagues who are taking the plunge together.	\n\nConfirmed 
 emcees include Tony Bravo, San Francisco Chronicle STYLE section reporter; 
 Lenny Broberg, Inspector, Gang Task Force, SFPD; Cheryl Jennings, News 
 Anchor, ABC7/KGO-TV; Tori Ritchie, Cookbook Author and Cooking Teacher; and

 lead the spirited auction while the burly and brawny lifeguards from 
 Fitness SF will be rescue ready if the need arises. Pool Toss fave, The 
 Fabulous Bud E. Luv Show, will be back again to entertain the crowd. The 
 San Francisco Bubble Man and Salty Walt and the Rattlin’ Ratlines will 
 also be on hand dazzling the guests.  \n\nEach year, TNDC asks a renowned 
 cartoonist to create the one-of-a-kind cartoon and logo for the event.  The 
 2017 Cartoon Artist is Shaenon Garrity. Shaenon specializes in comics and 
 pop culture and has over a decade of experience working with comic books. 
 Her own comics and fiction have won awards and critical acclaim. \n\nThe 
 unforgettable figures that have participated in past TNDC Pool Tosses
