DESCRIPTION:Attend the upcoming planning meeting for the Oakland Day in Solidarity with
African People:\n\nFriday, September 1st @ 6:30 pm at Akwaaba Hall at the
Oakland Uhuru House, 7911 MacArthur Blvd in East Oakland, CA near Eastmont
Mall. Accessible by the 57 bus which runs up MacArthur Blvd.\n\nIn autumn
of 2017, groups of white people throughout the U.S. will go into white
communities, knock on doors, hold events and fundraisers, and build a
people’s movement to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Black
Liberation Movement. This campaign, coordinated by the Uhuru Solidarity
Movement, will culminate in the Oakland Day in Solidarity with African
People happening October 5th, 2017. \n\nBased on the understanding that
every white person owes reparations to African people, USM will organize
groups of white people throughout the country to hold events and
fundraisers for the African People’s Socialist Party and its economic
foundation, Black Star Industries, the basis of a liberated African
economy.\n\nIt is historic that the African People’s Socialist Party has
won white people to take this stand to return the stolen resources which
are hoarded in our white communities to the African revolution, for the
unification and liberation of African people everywhere.\n\nThe Days in
Solidarity with African People campaign is a self-criticism from the white
population for our brutal assault on Africa and African people which formed
the foundations of capitalism. Slavery brought wealth to Europe for the
first time in a thousand years, ending the system of feudalism and
ultimately enabling all white people to climb the ladder to success,
prosperity, democracy and the right to share in the stolen loot of African
and Indigenous peoples.\n\nThe Days in Solidarity with African People lets
us state to the world that we recognize that African people forcibly
created life for us and wealth for us instead of for themselves and their
people.\n\nThe DSAP campaign goes further in that we raise actual
reparations to the organization that leads the movement of the African
working class for the final liberation of Africa and African people.\n\nHow
can we say we support and give solidarity to this struggle without actually
being organized under the leadership of the African Liberation Movement to
raise resources as reparations?\n\nSolidarity with African people lets us
join humanity, take responsibility for the crimes of white people and white
power and be part of a new world, led by African, Indigenous and other
colonized peoples, a world of true peace and equity and socialism in which
no one people can ever live at the expense of another.\n\nIt is clear that
political and economic crisis is the trend in the US and around the world.
We cannot leave this deplorable situation to the next generation.\n\nWe
cannot expect our children to grow up in a world where their dreams and
aspirations come at the expense of thousands of Mike Browns, Freddie Greys,
and Sandra Blands being slaughtered  by cops.\n\nIt must change—and it
IS changing, because the resistance of African people and oppressed people
is shaking the foundation of this system. This system built on suffering
will come down by the hands of oppressed people. We will see a new
world.\nBut we have to do our part.\n\nJoin the Campaign for the Oakland
Day in Solidarity with African People with the theme Unity Through
Reparations to African People!\n\nAttend the upcoming planning
meeting:\n\nFriday, September 1st @ 6:30 pm at Akwaaba Hall at the Oakland
