DESCRIPTION:The Uhuru Solidarity Movement is hosting its August webinar on Tuesday the 
 22nd, 7-9pm EST / 4-6pm PST entitled “If Jews got reparations, why not 
 the Black community?”\n\nThis webinar will address this question in the 
 context of the ongoing oppression of the black community, the conditions of 
 which fit the U.N.’s definition of genocide, and the right of the black 
 community to reparations.\n\nFeatured speakers are Jesse Nevel, Chair of 
 the Uhuru Solidarity Movement and mayoral candidate in St. Pete, FL and 
 Eritha “Akile” Cainion, Chair of the Committee for Justice for the 
 Three Drowned Black Girls and District 6 City Council candidate in St. 
 Pete, FL.\n\nJesse, age 27 and raised Jewish, has been an organizer in the 
 white community raising reparations to initiatives to address the grave 
 disparities in health and education in the Black community, for nearly 10 
 years.\n\nAkile, age 20 and from the black working class, has been a 
 prominent organizer for justice for the Black community, including the 
 three Black teenage girls drowned and murdered by the Pinellas County 
 Sheriff’s Department in March of 2016.\n\nThere will be a Q&A with the
