 permanently in the country, but because of our broken immigration system

 Sanchez is a nurse at Highland Hospital. She owns a home in Oakland with 
 her husband where they’ve raised their four children. \n\nIn May 
 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) knocked on her door and told her 
 she, her husband, and one of her children are to be deported.\n\nICE is 
 terrorizing our communities by tearing families apart, including Maria’s. 
 They’re targeting our co-workers and our neighbors.\n\nMaria is 
 requesting that she and her family be allowed to stay long enough to see 
 one of her daughters graduate college, a request that has been cruelly
