DESCRIPTION:On the third Thursday evening of each month, come to YBCA for free gallery 
 admission, extended hours, and live programming.\n\nIn June, we present Bay 
 Area queer feminist artist and author Midori in Queer Qraft Qamp, a 
 communal maker event intended to promote social activism through creative 
 making and conviviality. Participants will be able to participate in 
 various art stations, including button making, protest sign making, and 
 t-shirt stenciling. Attendees will create and take with them items that can 
 be worn, carried, or shown at the SF Pride Parade on June 25 and other 
 future political gatherings. The event encourages creative and political 
 engagement and activates the capacity of art and visual culture to catalyze 
 social change.\n\nEvery month we invite Bay Area artists, thinkers, and 
 culture makers to present unique experiences that you’ll only find at 
 YBCA. From live performances and interventions to dialogues and 
 discussions, third Thursdays promise inspiration and fun.\n
