 Library\n1170\nThe Alameda, Berkeley, CA\n\n\nAnti-fascist activist and 
 teacher Yvette Felarca continues to be\nprevented from returning to her 
 classroom at Martin Luther King Jr\nMiddle School after being placed on 
 administrative leave.\nAfter she helped stop a neo-Nazi recruitment rally 
 in Sacramento this\nsummer, and was stabbed in the process, terror threats 
 were made\nagainst Ms. Felarca and the school if she's not fired, and 
 instead of\ndefending the entire community, including\nMs. Felarca, the 
 school district is capitulating to the neo-Nazis'\ndemands by removing her 
 from her job.  \n\nThe\nschool district also took some of her wages out of 
 her bank account,\nand some of her students were pulled out of class and 
 interrogated\nabout her without parental notification or consent.\nLast 
 Wednesday, students from all grade levels - elementary, middle,\nand high 
 school, parents, fellow teachers from Berkeley and Oakland,\nand a diverse 
 range of community members again rallied in defense of\nMs. Felarca at the 
 school board meeting. When board members refused to\ndisclose their 
 personal positions on whether she should continue to\nteach, and instead 
 scurried off into "closed session", the community\nheld its own meeting in
