 speaking about his book and what can be done to defend homeless peoples' 
 human and civil rights.  \nRhodes was a key organizer in a 2006 class 
 action lawsuit by the homeless against the City of Fresno.\n\nThe $2.3 
 million dollar settlement forced the city to stop bulldozing homeless 
 encampments and compensated the homeless for their losses.\nFollowing the 
 presentation there will be a Q&A and panel discussion on the Santa Cruz 
 Sleeping ban and other issues affecting our homeless community.
