DESCRIPTION:Picture yourself jumping in the ocean waves, building a sandcastle on the
beach in the sunshine or camping under the stars in a redwood forest. Then
turn that summer scene into a one-of- a-kind haiku book by collaging found
text and imagery. Taught by Bay Area artist/instructor Jamil Moises
Liban-Ortañez. His work and teaching is focused on ways that qtpoc (queer
and trans people of color) craftivism (craft and activism) can be wielded
to stimulate social change.\n\nGreen Art Workshop is a hands-on,
eco-conscious program that brings teaching artists into Bay Area classrooms
and community centers. Click here to view more classes offered by then at
 SCRAP in SF.\n https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2016/06/22/18787908.php
