DESCRIPTION:Working Women\nThe Rockin’ Solidarity Labor Chorus presents Working
Women: A History in Story and Song, a survey that touches on, among much
else, the Bread and Roses strike in Lawrence, Massachusetts: the sweatshop
protests in New York before and after the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire; and,
the experiences of women, black and white, in defense work during World War
II. The show includes first-person testimony from teachers, an engineer,
and women in the trades, four-part harmony, laughter, and sturdy old labor
