DESCRIPTION:The free 13th Annual Berkeley World Music Festival celebrates Bay Area's 
 multi-cultural music scene Saturday & Sunday, June 11 and 12, Noon- 9 pm. 
 Some of the finest world artists who call the Bay Area home will present 
 dazzling range of music - 20 shows! - outdoors and at various Telegraph 
 Avenue venues. Best starting place is the event information booth, located 
 on Telegraph Avenue at Haste St, near UC Berkeley. \n\nEach day offers 
 dance concerts led by internationally renowned headliners who are foremost 
 proponents in their fields of music. For Saturday's People's Park Concert 
 (12:30- 6 pm) Multi-Grammy nominee John Santos leads an all star lineup. 
 After the Muwekma Ohlone opens the Park, AZA steps on stage with Tamazight 
 "Berber" rhythms, horns, and soaring vocals, followed by The Dogon Lights 
 electrifying West African harmonies and John Santos, whose 9 piece 
 Afro-Latin Jazz band includes Cuban timbales drumming legend, Orestes 
 Vilató!\n\nOn Sunday, Trio Garufa (Argentine Tango) and then 
 Fanna-Fi-Allah (authentic Sufi Qawwali) ignite the YWCA dance floor at 2600 
 Durant Ave, from 3-7 pm. With the incomparable Dirty Cello and Rumbaché 
 (Salsa) with 2014 Grammy award winner Omar Ledezma Jr., as evening finales 
 or Latin Grammy nominee Gabriel Navia (New Wave Latin), SonoMusette, 
 Ensohza (Japanese Folk Music and Dance), Neema Hekmat, (Persian), Bayou 
 Noir (Zydeco), Ghost Note Ensemble (European Trans-Carpathian), Margaret 
 and Kristof (Celtic), Michael Masley (Kalimbolam), Sadza Marimba and Julia 
 Chigamba (Zimbabwean Music and Dance) Simcha Orchestra (Klezmer), Spirit of 
 ’29 (Dixieland Jazz) and Crafts Village in the Park, the memorable 
 Berkeley World Music Festival offers something for everyone!\n
