 upcoming screening of Pride 5/28/16, and other business.\n\nThe Oakland 
 Livable Wage Assembly builds Community and Power among those who seek 
 higher wages and better work life conditions for area workers.\n\nOur work 
 together encompasses:\n\nThe concerns of precarious, contingent and care 
 workers\nConcurrent campaigns to improve wages for low-wage 
 workers\nEfforts by unionized workers and unions to improve wages and 
 quality of work life. We share stories and information in an egalitarian 
 and participatory way to build relationships and build the movement\nThe 
 Oakland Livable Wage Assembly meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the 
 month. Meetings usually take place at the SEIU Local 1000 union hall in 
 downtown Oakland, from 6:30 PM until 8PM, at 436 14th Street, Suite 
 200.\nPlease join us to collaborate in principled reflection on what Bay 
 Area Livable Wage should be and where we are at in terms of Livable Wage
