 poetry, song, and music from local poets, writers and musicians.\n\nThis 
 event is to raise money for the Monterey 8 who were arrested on March 28th, 
 2015 at a Black and Brown Lives Matter Protest in Monterey. They have taken 
 a plea deal and are facing heavy fines (about $900 per 
 person).\n\nSuggested donation $10.\n\nAll funds raised will go directly 
 toward court fines and fees.\n\nThis event is open to everyone! Invite your
