DESCRIPTION:Are Dr.King's teachings on war and peace relevant to an age of climate
change, to corporate globalization and blowback?\n\nKing was not only
inspired by India's Gandhi-led victory over British imperialism, he was
influenced by W.E.B.Dubois and Paul Robeson. Both taught that imperialism
and democracy cannot survive together. \n\nPaul Rockwell, peace activist
and columnist for In Motion Magazine, was at Riverside Church when King
delivered his soul-searing, anti-imperialist address on April 4,
1967.Rockwell will deliver a sermon on King's legacy at the Berkeley
 Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship Hall, Sunday, January 17 at 10:30 a.m.
1924 Cedar Ave. Berkeley. All are welcome.\n
