 Venezuelan Supreme Court (TSJ) since 2004. He serves on the TSJ Electoral 
 Chamber and is an expert on the Venezuelan electoral (and judicial) system. 
 He will be participating in the National Lawyers Guild’s Annual Law for 
 the People Convention, taking place in Oakland.\n\nGiven the importance of 
 the upcoming (December 6) parliamentary elections in Venezuela and the 
 negative US main-stream media coverage of everything Venezuelan, we are 
 fortunate to have Justice Vegas come to the Bay Area to explain the 
 Bolivarian Constitution, its judicial system, and its highly acclaimed 
 electoral system.  He will also speak on illegal US government funding of 
 opposition political NGOs and will give an update on the Leopoldo Lopez 
 case and the border closures with Colombia—and how the judicial system is
