 with Annie Patterson & Peter Blood, the creators of the well-known Rise Up 
 Singing songbook, joined by locals Aileen Vance, Bonnie Lockhart, and Bob 
 Reid, in a benefit for the Resource Center for Nonviolence. \n\nDATE: 
 Saturday, September 19  at 7:00p.m. \nLOCATION: Resource Center for 
 Nonviolence, 612 Ocean St., Santa Cruz. \n\nThis concert will celebrate the 
 release of a long-awaited companion book to the widely known & loved 
 songbook, Rise Up Singing. The concert will feature Annie Patterson & Peter 
 Blood, the creators of Rise Up Singing and Rise Again, teaching and leading 
 songs out of their new book. Featured  musicians Aileen Vance, Bonnie 
 Lockhart and Bob Reid all have songs in this new collection. \n\n“Rise Up 
 Singing has Risen Again - a second coming and twice as welcome. It is 
 unique - a treasure - for any age group or any level of musical or vocal 
 proficiency. Get it for yourself, get it for friends and family.  Then 
 everyone can gather and rise together, again and again and again.” -

 for the Resource Center for Nonviolence, a local non-profit promoting
