 St., San Francisco, CA\n\nAbout the readers/performers:\n\nEli Horowitz's 
 new book is The Pickle Index: A Novel. Horowitz was the managing editor and 
 then publisher of McSweeney's for eight years. He is the coauthor of The 
 Clock Without a Face, a treasure-hunt mystery; Everything You Know Is Pong, 
 an illustrated cultural history of Ping-Pong; and The New World, a 
 collaboration with Chris Adrian.\n\nFran Wilde's debut novel is Updraft. 
 Her short stories have appeared in Asimov's, Nature, Beneath Ceaseless 
 Skies and Tor.com. Her interview series Cooking the Books–about the 
 intersection between food and fiction–has appeared at Strange Horizons, 
 Tor.com, and on her blog.\n\nRuth Galm's debut novel is called Into the 
 Valley. Her short fiction is forthcoming from Kenyon Review Online and has 
 appeared in Indiana Review and on Joyland: a hub for short fiction. She is 
 a past resident of the Ucross Foundation in Wyoming.\n\nBucky Sinister's 
 latest book is Black Hole: A Novel. He also wrote the poetry books Time 
 Bomb Snooze Alarm, King of the Roadkills, All Blacked Out & Nowhere to Go, 
 Whiskey and Robots and Aim for the Head: An Anthology of Zombie Poetry. He 
 also wrote the books Get Up: A 12 Step Guide to Recovery for Misfits, 
 Freaks & Weirdos, and Still Standing: Addicts Talk About Living 
 Sober.\n\nDebbie Yee is a lawyer‐poet and community organizer for the 
 nonprofit literary and arts community. Her poems have appeared variously, 
 including The Best American Poetry 2009, 32 Poems and Fence. She is a 
 Kundiman fellow and graduate of U.C. Berkeley and U.C. Berkeley School of 
 Law (Boalt Hall). In 2011, she was a recipient of a Cultural Equity Grant 
 in literary arts from the San Francisco Arts Commission.\n\nMaisha Z. 
 Johnson works and writes for publications including Everyday Feminism, 
 Black Girl Dangerous, and Pyragraph. She is also a facilitator with Fired 
 Up!, a program of California Coalition for Women Prisoners, and a former 
 member of the staff collective at Community United Against Violence (CUAV), 
 helping prevent and respond to violence within and against LGBTQ 
 communities. Maisha is the author of Through Your Own Words: 51 Writing 
 Prompts for Healing and Self-Care (Inkblot Arts 2014). She's also written a 
 full-length collection of poetry, No Parachutes to Carry Me Home (Punk 
 Hostage Press 2015) and three poetry chapbooks, Uprooted (Gorilla Press 
 2014), Queer As In (Inkblot Arts 2014), and Split Ears (Aggregate Space 
 2013). She has facilitated writing workshops with incarcerated youth with 
 The Beat Within, and with elementary school students through Streetside 
 Stories, and she leads workshops regularly with Inkblot Arts.\n\nAbout 
 Writers With Drinks:\n\nWriters With Drinks has won numerous "Best ofs" 
 from local newspapers, and has been mentioned in 7x7, Spin Magazine and one 
 of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City novels. The spoken word "variety 
 show" mixes genres to raise money for local causes. The award-winning show 
 includes poetry, stand-up comedy, science fiction, fantasy, romance, 
 mystery, literary fiction, erotica, memoir, zines and blogs in a 
 freewheeling format.\n
