auspicious stardate of Zach's own earthly arrival! Unspool the unseen

Barabé\nInterested by pop music, free jazz, contemporary compositions,
improvisation and noise, Barabé is able to combine such disparate
influences to realize wholly new compositions. His work is a reflection on
the emotional scars (in a personal and collective way) and the shadows of
the past. Despite rare live performances, he is active in the cassette
community and has run the acclaimed cassette label, La Cohu, since 2012.
Barabé has written and produced nine feature films, many of them featured
at the RVCQ (Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québécois) as well as numerous short
videos to accompany music by several artists. His newest releases,
"Cicatrices, Scar, Éclair" (2am Tapes) and "Stigmates" (905 Tapes) have
garnered high praise pushing Barabe into a new, intense, and international
spotlight.\n\n"A real eye-popper/exploder. This is one of the more
surprising spools to roll through the reels of my deck in some time. [...]
this crazy ass tape is one of those insatiable intruig-ers that instantly
begs further investigations [...] synthesizers, no-input noise makers,
sampled acoustic instruments, foreign opera voices, modulators, and hand
drums... a surrealist macabre theater." -TinyMixTapes

Truchy\nTruchy's chaotically textured electoronic and processed-vocal music
are derived from textural and color values of objects synaesthized with the
aim of destabilising audiences in order to confront the daily concepts that
manage, direct and confine waking life. From 2010 to 2015, Truchy ran the
label, Los Discos Enfantasmes, alongside Riccardo Lucchesi and Bernardino
Femminielli. Now based in Montreal, Truchy's collaborators include Tim
Hecker, Charles Barabe, and his tour mates have included Noothgrush, and
Godspeed! You Black Emperor.\n\n"...very challenging and bombarding, but
there’s something so interesting and precise [...] It is in many ways
perfect experimental music, featuring both elements of the accessible and
 inaccessible." -TheCDCritic
 7/4/14\nhttp://jstruchy.blogspot.de/\n\n\nBlack Givre\nSamuel Bobony
combines drum, sampling and synthesizer manipulations to create explosive,
real-time compositions. His solo project, Black Givre, won the GAMIQ Award
(best new experimental album of the year) for his LP entitled, Autorail
(co-released by Beaver Club/Jeunesse Cosmique). An prolific contributor to
the Montreal music scene, he has collaborated with Avec le Soleil Sortant
de sa Bouche (Constellation Records) and Héliodrome (Endemik Music) as
well as Jeunesse Cosmique. Bobony's 2014 releases include Explosion Therapy
(Small Scale Music/ Beaver Club), and a new split release with Charles
Barabé (La Cohu). His most recent work, a sound art piece called Ruptur in
collaboration with artist Nelly-Ève Rajotte was presented at Centre Clark
in Montreal.\n\n"the music truly does explode out of my stereo speakers,
while at the same time it is also therapeutic. [...] Mixed with continual
beats are electro whirrs [and] within the hum and the buzz, we experience a
bit of synth coming out along the lines of Britney Spears’ “Toxic”
 -Raised by Gypsies
