 commercial development project that is slated to pave the southern 7 acres 
 of the Farm has been held off by a lawsuit.\n\nOn June 16th, the courts 
 ruled in favor of the land owner, UC Berkeley (a land grant public 
 university), citing that their polluting, privatizing, pavement project 
 breaks no state laws.  Sprouts Supermarket now has the green light to come 
 bulldoze the last remaining arable farmland in the East Bay.\n\nBut we’re
