 the Legacy Gala, the GLIDE Legacy Committee--a group of young social 
 entrepreneurs--will recognize the outstanding contributions of three 
 architects of change who embody the passion and spirit of GLIDE's 
 Co-Founders Cecil Williams and Janice Mirikitani, as well as the 
 organization's mission. This year, GLIDE will be honoring Olympic and World 
 Figure Skating Champion Kristi Yamaguchi with the Janice Mirikitani Legacy 
 Award. Chip Conley, hotel guru, traveling philosopher, speaker and author 
 of national bestseller "Emotional Equations," will be honored with the 
 Cecil Williams Legacy Award. The announcement of the Legacy Award will be 
 made soon. Franco Finn, hype man for NBA World Champion Golden State 
 Warriors, will act as the evening’s emcee.\n\n“It’s a wonderful thing 
 to see this young group of philanthropists inspire those around them to get 
 involved and make change happen,” said GLIDE Co-founder and Minister of

 artist, author, wife, mother and philanthropist, Kristi embodies the word 
 “champion”. Her motto is "Always Dream," and Kristi's accomplishments 
 prove that dreams can come true with hard work and dedication. Following 
 her victory at the 1992 Winter Olympics, Kristi founded the Always Dream
