 readers/performers:\n\nNina Hartley is the author of Nina Hartley's Guide 
 to Total Sex and the producer of the Nina Hartley's Guide line of 
 instructional videos. She's won numerous AVN Awards for her performances in 
 adult videos, including Best Non-Sex Performance for Not Bewitched XXX. She 
 won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Legends of Erotica.\n\nShideh 
 Etaat's work appears in The Forbidden: Poems from Iran and its Exiles, 
 Tremors: New Fiction by Iranian American Writers and elsewhere. She's 
 working on a novel.\n\nClaire Bidwell Smith is a therapist specializing in 
 grief and the author of two books of nonfiction: The Rules of Inheritance 
 and After This: When Life is Over Where Do We Go?. The Rules of 
 Inheritance, a coming of age memoir about grief, was a Books for a Better 
 Life nominee, a Barnes and Noble Discover Pick, has been published in 17 
 countries, and is currently being adapted for film.\n\nCatie DiSabato's 
 debut novel is called The Ghost Network. She's a columnist for Full Stop. 
 She’s written criticism and commentary for This Recording, The Millions, 
 and The Rumpus, and her short fiction was recently featured on 
 Joyland.\n\n\nAbout Writers With Drinks:\n\nWriters With Drinks has won 
 numerous "Best ofs" from local newspapers, and has been mentioned in 7x7, 
 Spin Magazine and one of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City novels. The 
 spoken word "variety show" mixes genres to raise money for local causes. 
 The award-winning show includes poetry, stand-up comedy, science fiction, 
 fantasy, romance, mystery, literary fiction, erotica, memoir, zines and 
 blogs in a freewheeling format.\n
