DESCRIPTION:VoiceLots presents our very first Open-Mic Night event in the heart of 
 Silicon Valley hosted by SJSU's student organization "Global Awakening". 
 The event will take place in the Student Union Theater of SJSU.\n\nPart of 
 VoiceLots' mission is to help traditionally underheard and underserved 
 people raise their voices about social injustices and this will be an open 
 platform for individuals who'd like to share food-for-thought about current 
 local, national, and even global social issues/topics. Presentations are 
 expected but not limited to vary from monologues, poems, raps, speeches and 
 acts. This is also a great opportunity to promote causes and 
 movements!\n\nThere is no entrance fee but donations are warmly accepted as 
 all proceedings will go towards the funding of our new mobile apps!
