DESCRIPTION:Now is the time to embrace solutions to our mounting global crises. Let’s 
 stop languishing in despair. Instead, let’s mount a “solution 
 revolution”! \n\nThat’s the goal of the public talk to be given by Dr. 
 Kevin Danaher at the Annual Good Government Luncheon of the Democratic 
 World Federalists on March 28 in Berkeley. Dr. Danaher—well-known in the 
 Bay Area as a distinguished author, global activist, and cofounder of 
 Global Exchange, FairTradeUSA, and the Green Festivals—will take on such 
 questions as:\n\n• Why do we live with increasing environmental 
 devastation?\n• Why does our global economy cause such gross 
 inequalities? \n• What’s at the root of our frequent wars and threats 
 of war? \n\nThis special event is designed to help concerned global 
 citizens come to terms with the extractive economic system that creates 
 these maladies, and to promote viable alternatives right now. 
 \n\nFortunately, practical solutions are being tested at the global level. 
 Dr. Danaher will discuss how, over the last several decades, a grassroots 
 convergence of social, political, peace, and environmental movements is 
 initiating the first ever “solution revolution.” This values revolution 
 will, he says, “take us from a system where money-values rule over the 
 life cycle to one where life-values rule over the money cycle.” \n\nDr. 
 Kevin Danaher has long been at the forefront of this struggle. According to 
 him, these citizen movements represent the core constituency for building a 
 world democracy that will one day replace the United Nations, making
