 special prosecutor to deal with police brutality----SPD Stands 
 CONVICTED!!\n\nThere is no transparency!! No justice!! As Salinas stands as 
 an example of the New Jim Crow...Californians will gather to develop 
 strategies to bring about systemic change to an unjust system of 
 oppression.\n\nWe are urging all those who attended our October founding 
 convention as well as social justice fighters across the state to  make 
 every effort to attend our Second Conference in Salinas on January 17, 
 2015. As California and the nation remain focused on police deadly force 
 and the corruption of the "justice" system, we urge you to attend and bring 
 others as we unify groups and leaders and plot a course to unearth the 
 roots of injustice.\n\nCNRC Founder Luis J. Rodriguez will be presenting a 
 major report and all participants are urged to bring their ideas, proposals 
 and experience to share with other Network members and supporters. In 
 addition leaders of the struggle against police violence in Salinas 
 including Frank Alvarado, Sr. --whose son was gunned down by Salinas 
 police-- City Councilmember Jose Castaneda and teacher/labor activist Ana 
 Barrera will be present with an update of the local situation and its 
 relation to California as a whole."\n
