 creations at our DIY Food Swap\nBring your jam, hot sauce, cookies, kefir, 
 pickles, kraut or candies. We will reward every guest who brings an item to 
 swap with a gift from the FARMcurious store, AND you take home a fellow 
 maker’s delicious handiwork.\n \nLearn new skills and techniques at our 
 Maker Demos\nWe have Sean Timberlake of Punk Domestics showing you how to 
 make Duck Prosciutto, Melissa Lavrinc-Smith aka Sommelier to the Silicon 
 Valley Stars sharing the recipe for one of her #fronyardfarmer garden 
 infused cocktails, our own Nicole Easterday schooling you on fermenting 
 vegetables with the FARMcurious Fermenting Set, and more food DIY 
 fun.\n\nShop for gifts, equipment and DIY kits at our Gift 
 Faire\nFARMcurious offers a carefully selected collection of gifts focused 
 on food. We’ll have everything from hip mason jar cocktail shakers, to 
 crafty cheese making kits, cute garden planters and stocking stuffers like 
 art-covered seed packets and ceramic fermenting weights.\n\nBring the kids 
 for fun demos and activities during our Kids Hour\nFun for all ages during 
 the first hour of the party, including making seed bombs and other fun 
 stuff.\n\nMeet new friends and local urban homesteaders while you sip our 
 Cocktails\nSwap stories and tips with other local urban farmers, fermenters 
 and food lovers. Sample wine and other libations to keep the party 
 going.\n\nSupport a local food based nonprofit with the purchase of your 
 ticket\nProceeds from this event will go to FoodShift, who are developing 
 sustainable solutions that address systemic issues behind food waste and 
 hunger. Working with the Oakland Unified School District they have 
 recovered 4,100 pounds of food and milk and distributed to 65 families in 
 just six months!\n
