DESCRIPTION:The Green Party of Alameda County invites you to a Green Sunday discussion 
 about the November 4 general election.    \n\nWho won in the election - the 
 1% or the rest of us?\n\nBring your friends as well as your opinions, 
 ideas, and plans. We will look at the results of the November 4 election 
 with a focus on how we can use the power we have to create a better world. 
 \n\nSunday, Nov 9, 2014, 5 pm  \n\nLOCATION: Niebyl-Proctor Library, 6501 
 Telegraph Ave. at 65th in North Oakland.\n\n\nDIRECTIONS: One block north 
 of Alcatraz on the West side of Telegraph, wheelchair accessible. Buses 
 pass by regularly. Ashby BART is approximately 7 blocks away.   
 \n\nQuestions to address include:\n\n* Was it a good idea to boycott the 
 state races?\n* Is it a good idea to do what huge numbers of eligible 
 voters do: boycott the whole election?\n* What were the overall and 
 specific results of this particular election, and what does it mean for our 
 future planning?\n* How do we get a better democracy, better government, 
 better quality of life?\n* Bottom line question, “How can we make the 
 best use of the power and resources — time, money and energy — that we

 Controller in the June primary\n\nGuest:\nBARRY HERMANSON - Green Party 
 candidate for Congress in the June primary, Nancy Pelosi's seat in 
 SF\n\nSPONSOR: Green Sundays are a series of free programs & discussions 
 sponsored by the Green Party of Alameda County. They are held on the 2nd 
 Sunday of each month. The monthly business meeting of the County Council of 
 the Green Party of Alameda County follows at 6:45 p.m. Council meetings are 
 always open to anyone who is interested.\n
