 series is offered in collaboration with the CONTACT Project and Krista 
 DeNio (http://www.kristadenio.com/the-contact-project/) in conjunction with 
 the exhibition of artist Monica Haller's Objects for Deployment: Veterans 
 Book Project, (http://www.veteransbookproject.com/).\n\nDirector/ 
 choreographer Krista DeNio, and members of the CONTACT project will 
 facilitate workshops investigating the personal stories, visual content, 
 and narratives from Veterans Book Project, along with excavating personal 
 stories from workshop participants, as source for performance material. 
 These initial workshops will bring together aspects of the CONTACT project 
 training and development processes, including ally work, physical and vocal 
 training, writing, and performance composition. Material developed in the 
 workshops will act as foundational content for a February 2015 performance 
 installation, a collaboration among The Arts at CIIS, Veterans Book Project 
 and the CONTACT project. Workshops are open to performers and 
 non-performers, veterans of war and military service, non-veterans, 
 students of CIIS, and members of the public. \n\nFall 2014 Workshop dates & 
 times:\n\nIntroductory Workshop: Friday November 14, 
 6:30-9:30pm\n\nDay-long Workshops: November 22nd/23rd, and December 
 13th/14th | 12:00-5:00pm\n\nNOTE:\n* December 14th is the Workshop Audition 
 for those interested in Winter 2015 performances.\n* Participants may 
 attend (1) or both days on each weekend. \n* Please RSVP so that 
 appropriate planning can be done. If you are unable to RSVP in advance, 
 please contact the workshop leader the day of, to find out if there is room 
 for you! Participation is limited to 15 (students, public, veterans and
