DESCRIPTION:Loco Bloco celebrates our 20th year of providing Afro-Latino community arts 
 education and performance.  Loco Bloco was founded in the traditions of the 
 Afro-Blocos of Brazil, with a focus on creating music and dance dedicated 
 to cultural activism.  Loco Bloco brings together traditional rhythms, 
 movements and aesthetics of the African Diaspora within Latin America and 
 fuses them with contemporary urban styles of music, dance and theater to 
 create high-energy, innovative presentations based on social justice issues 
 currently facing our community.  Loco Bloco's community arts education 
 programs and events help to empower and uplift under-served and 
 marginalized populations by using the arts as a tool for empowerment and 
 change making. \nThis year’s production celebrates Loco Bloco’s legacy 
 and reconnects audiences to our core values of: Artivism – Grit – 
 Education – Family – Health – Youth Leadership – Inclusion; by 
 bringing them to the stage and exhibiting them artistically.\n\nThe 
 production includes:\nOriginal music, dance, stilt and bateria (drum) 
 compositions performed by Loco Bloco’s Performing Ensemble and community
