DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are at the heart of Uhuru Foods & Pies, especially during the 
 holiday season, when we sponsor our large pie sale! Preparing the pie mixes 
 has already begun, with shifts available on Friday evenings and the 
 weekends. Come to an orientation, held every Tuesday at 6:30pm at 4797 
 Telegraph Avenue in the Temescal Neighborhood of Oakland. \n\n *Also, staff 
 one of the community tables selling pies. Join with others or bring a 
 friend or family member to sell one delicious meaningful pie! \n 
 *Participate in baking, boxing and labeling. \n *Train to be a volunteer 
 coordinator. \n *Staff an Uhuru Foods & Pies outdoor kitchen - train to 
 coordinate a station or an entire booth. \n *Join a team - help with social
