DESCRIPTION:Andrea Prichett is a well-known activist and singer-songwriter based in
Berkeley, California. She writes topical songs that are resonant with
political themes, passion, and humor that work well as acapella anthems. As
a co-founder of Berkeley CopWatch, Andrea has been active in the struggle
against police brutality and the militarization of local police. She has
been an activist for the homeless, Palestine, community radio, and Occupy.
She has been in popular female groups, such as the radical folk trio
Rebecca Riots, which released 4 CDs, and Average Dyke Band. Andrea can hold
her own solo too! BFUU’s own Gail Penso will host.\n\nWebpage:
