DESCRIPTION:The Tuk-Pikuni [tree-people], founders and keepers of the Occupy2Decolonize
action on the land area between Martin Luther King Blvd. and Indigenous Way
[ the former Broadway St.] underneath the I-580 overpass, are kicking off
Red September* with a BBQ\work party tomorrow, Sept. 1st, starting between
noon and 1pm, underneath the I-580 overpass on Telegraph Ave. between
MacArthur Blvd. and 34th St. Bringing your own fodder is advisable,
especially if you're vege or vegan. So STOP DRIVING, and come help PLANT A
GARDEN.Donations will be gratefully accepted as well.A few days ago,
CarTrance [the state agency commonly known as CalTrans] was up to its dirty
tricks again, breaking federal law by violating an Indigenous Sacred Site
by going into the O2D site and stealing sleeping-gear, tools, and Sacred
artifacts; to-wit, Eagle feathers. So any donations of these items, or, of
course, the monetary kind, would be much appreciated;] A-ho.*- Red
September is going to be a month of action centered around DESTROYING
colonialism, restoring Indigenous sovereignty and the protection of Mother
 Earth.\n https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2014/08/31/18760941.php
