DESCRIPTION:Living the New Economy brings together entrepreneurs, investors, activists, 
 non-profits, producers, and makers to inspire new ideas and produce 
 tangible projects that move the Bay Area closer to a New Economy. It 
 focuses on transformative solutions and opportunities within six 
 intersectional tracks: Alternative Money & Finance, New Business Models, 
 New Justice, Housing & Neighborhoods, Food Land & Water, and Local 
 Manufacturing. This event aims to convene and support all those who might 
 contribute to an economy that is restorative to people, place, and planet, 
 and that operates according to principles of democracy, justice and 
 appropriate scale. Join us at LNE Oakland on October 23-26, 2014. 
 \n\nSCHOLARSHIPS: It is our intention to make this event as accessible as 
 possible. There are a limited number of scholarship opportunities 
 available. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please submit an 
 application no later than September 15, 2014 in order to be considered.
