 during his Berkeley years (1953 – 1966), several will be shown publicly 
 for first time. Also included will be drawings by other Bay Area Figurative 
 movement artists and those closest to Diebenkorn including David Park, 
 Elmer Bischoff, Frank Lobdell, Nathan Oliveira and James Weeks. An 
 exhibition catalog and public program series will showcase the historic 
 role that the Art Center played in the rise of the Bay Area Figurative 
 movement and provide a unique perspective into the ways in which 
 Diebenkorn’s work lives on in private collections and still resonates in
