 place on August 16th, 2014 at LOWELL PARK in Oakland, California. A full 
 day of arts, culture and activities featuring daylong musical performances 
 - headlined by Lagos Roots Afrobeat Ensemble - competitive inter-African 
 soccer tournament, a colorful array of vendors, the aromas and taste of 
 African cuisine, and the soul satiating sounds and movements of African 
 music and dance.\n\nFestival Details:\n\n This festival is 100% FREE, 
 family-friendly, and open to people of of all ages.\n Soccer tournament 
 begins @ 10am\n Musical performances will start @ noon\nLowell Park is 
 located on 14th Street (between Adeline Street & Market Street in 
 Oakland)\nThere will be on-site local food and artisan vendors\nKIDS OF ALL 
 AGES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR YOUTH SOCCER ACTIVITIES! (Please 
 wear proper attire if available)\nIn addition to a full day of 
 entertainment, we also aim to provide  space for various organizations to 
 highlight information on, both, local sources for fresh produce and 
 holistic treatment; sharing with each other the resources available in
