DESCRIPTION:During our 40th Annual Pride, we are delighted to honor our community's 
 Trailblazers, men and women who paved the path towards equal rights we 
 follow today. Spend some time with our history in an exhibit built to pay 
 tribute to those who raised their voices for justice.\n \nWe are putting 
 our Parade to the street with fabulous contingents like Dykes on Bykes, 
 CHEER San Francisco, PFLAG, and Radical Faeries. Special guest contingent 
 of Trailblazers and Lifetime Achievement award winners. \n \nRally 'round 
 the main stage to give a hand to honorees and award winners.  Hostess Kim 
 Luke, mistress of charm and wit,will be introducing performers such as East 
 Bay's Meredith Kate and Santa Cruz favorite Frooty Flavors that will keep 
 the crowd entertained and delighted. \n \nDance, dance, dance to DJ Reb 
 putting down the beats at the top of Pacific Ave\n \nCome enjoy our newly 
 expanded kids area, a safe place for kids to play, create, color, paint and 
 eat homemade ice cream.\n  \nThe festival will  also include street 
 performers, face painters, Santa Cruz balloon master Mr. Twister, booths 
 for shopping and general information.\nStop by the Diversity Center's booth
