DESCRIPTION:San Francisco Premiere.\n\nWho decides the future of rural America? In
'Uranium Drive-In' we see how the promise of jobs from a proposed uranium
mill in an economically devastated mining community in Colorado brings hope
for the first time in decades. But when environmentalists step in to stop
the mill, pro-mill advocates are enraged. The health and environmental
impacts of the mill suddenly become pit against the opportunity of work and
a better life for residents. Director Susan Bereza ('Bag It', SFGFF 2011)
presents both sides of the issue with care and without judgement. The film
captures the heart-wrenching personal stories and paints a portrait of the
lives behind this nuanced and complex issue.\n\nWatch trailer
