DESCRIPTION:On April 11, community and environmental activists will rally and speak out 
 at the Japanese consulate in San Francisco to oppose the restart of the 50 
 Japanese nuclear plants, for the evacuation of the children and families 
 from Fukushima and against the secrecy law recently passed by the Abe 
 government.\nThe Japanese government with he support of the US government 
 wants to say that you can "decontaminate" Fukushima and that the people can 
 overcome radiation.\nThe government has also repressed anti-nuclear 
 activists who have been organizing and leafletting against the burning of 
 nuclear  rubble in Osaka and other prefectures in Japan.\nThe Japanese 
 government which is also now running TEPCO is allowing the Yakuza and 
 subcontractors to hire out day laborers and other workers who are brought 
 into the plant without proper training and being radiated. Many are not 
 even registered so that if they get cancer they will receive no healthcare 
 and compensation.\nAlongside the secrecy law are also efforts to militarize 
 Japan by eliminating article 9 in the Japanese constitution which prohibits 
 Japan from using the military in other countries and expanding the 
 military. The US government including politicians like Congresswomen Nancy 
 Pelosi is supporting the remilitarization of Japan.\nThe No Nukes Action 
 Committee NNA has been having monthly rallies against the restart of the 
 nuclear plants and also for the elimination of nuclear power in Japan and 
 the US.\nRally starts at 3:00 PM at 275 Battery St. near the Embarcadero
