 facing 60 years in prison.  She fired a warning shot to stop the attacker. 
 Yet, she—the victim of abuse—was tried and found guilty of aggravated 
 assault. This last September, the guilty verdict and unreasonable 20 year 
 mandatory sentence were overturned. But she has to face a second trial this 
 summer, and state prosecutor Angela Corey is demanding a 60 year 
 sentence!\n\nMarissa is a survivor of domestic violence, and is only facing 
 charges because of this racist, sexist and unjust legal system. There is no 
 crime in defending yourself from abuse. She never should have spent a day 
 in jail. Marissa acted in self-defense and injured no one. She should not 
 be subjected to a second trial. All charges against her should be dropped 
 immediately.\n\nIt is critical in this time to show the force of people
