 group of youth who are building bright futures for themselves despite 
 serious challenges! BOSS and our partners - Berkeley Youth Alternatives, 
 Berkeley High School, and Berkeley Technology Academy - are holding the 1st 
 Annual Rising Stars Youth Leadership Gala at Northbrae Community Church in 
 Berkeley to celebrate the achievements of an amazing group of young people 
 who are overcoming serious challenges such as homelessness, domestic 
 violence, mental illness and substance abuse in the family, and more. Join 
 us for music by Berkeley High Jazz Ensemble, Aquarius Groove, and Michael 
 Nelson. Dinner by Cafe Rouge, Cake4Kids, Free Juice Berkeley, and others. 
 Special awards to 20 youth! Tickets $30 each or 2 for $50 - call
