DESCRIPTION:On Saturday, Mar. 1, Bay Area Women in Black's silent vigil will be one of 
 the events taking place during Israel Apartheid Week,  Feb. 24-Mar 2, 2014. 
 Our one-page fliers will review the connections between the system of 
 discrimination used by South Africa against its non-white population and 
 that used by Israel against its non-Jewish population.  Just as divestment 
 brought down the apartheid government of South Africa, Bay Area Women in 
 Black believe that boycott, divestment, and sanctions against the Israeli 
 military government will end the illegal, apartheid-driven occupation of 
 Palestine.  Please dress in black and plan to stand in silence with us as 
 we call for an end to apartheid, wherever it exists.\n
