DESCRIPTION:Join us this March for a full evening exploring Nicaragua’s cultural and 
 political past, present and future\n\nAltruvistas, ICAS/Juntos Adelante and 
 Nicaragua Center for Community Action (NICCA) are thrilled to host the Bay 
 Area premiere of ‘En La Casa, La Cama y La Calle’ (At home, in bed and 
 in the streets) and a preview trailer for upcoming film Abrazos de San 
 Pancho.  Both films delve into Nicaragua’s complex political and social 
 history.\n\nSan Francisco Poet Laureate, Professor and Activist Alejandro 
 Murguia will give remarks at the event.\n\nProceeds from the evening will 
 benefit midwifery and community health clinic, The Mama Licha Clinic 
 Project, and women’s rights and anti-human trafficking  organization 
 Grupo MOES, both based in Esteli, Nicaragua.  \n\nAttendees will also have 
 the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and learn more about 
 upcoming travel opportunities to visit Nicaragua and see these projects in 
 person.\n\nWine, food, poetry, music and networking\n\nSuggested 
 donation:\n$20 general Admission\n$10-$15 students\n*No one turned away for
