 Strickland is a founding board member of Revere Bank, in Laurel, Maryland.  
 He is also founder of Sidney Strickland & Associates, PLLC., specializing 
 in surface transportation issues before various Federal Government 
 agencies, including the U.S. Surface Transportation Board, and various 
 components of the U.S. Department of Transportation.  \n\nHe is a former 
 secretary of the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC), former associate 
 director of the ICC’s enforcement arm, trial attorney with the ICC’s 
 Office of the General Counsel, and associate general counsel of BNSF 
 Railway Company.  Mr. Strickland graduated from the University of 
 California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in engineering and 
 received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California at
