 Peltier has been serving a double life sentence for 35 years. Peltier was a 
 member of American Indian Movement (AIM), which was  targeted for 
 infiltration by the FBI and subjected to COINTELPRO, a program  directed 
 against progressive political groups.\n\nThe documentary “Incident at 
 Oglala” examines the events in the summer of 1975 on  the Pine Ridge 
 Indian Reservation in South Dakota that led to the killing of two  FBI 
 agents and a Native American. Two people charged with killing the FBI 
 agents  were acquitted. But Peltier, who was later tried separately, was 
 convicted of  murder. During the trial, the government intimidated 
 witnesses and withheld  evidence. \n\nJoin us for a screening of
