DESCRIPTION:Black Power * Flower Power \n\nIs a historically significant photography 
 exhibition that features stunning black-and-white imagery by Pirkle Jones 
 and Ruth-Marion Baruch, noted documentary photographers. The exhibit 
 presents  new ways of seeing community and solidarity in two important 
 bodies of photographic work: the growth of the black liberation movement 
 through the black panthers and the1967 blossoming of the hippies in San 
 Francisco Haight-Ashbury.\n\nA select group of photographs will be on 
 display at the UCM art gallery, the internationally-traveling exhibits 
 exclusive stop in the central valley. The UCM exhibit is made possible by 
 the generous support of the Pirkle Jones foundation.
